Adult Mood and Anxiety

According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America, anxiety disorders are the most common form of mental illness in the United States. Approximately 40 million American adults are affected by anxiety disorders. Despite this, only 36.9% of those afflicted receive treatment.

Adult Outpatient

SUN Behavioral in Columbus, Ohio provides various mental health treatment programs. Our outpatient program helps patients who may be transitioning from inpatient care. It also benefits those who need more intensive treatment than that offered by traditional outpatient programs. The outpatient care center at our Columbus location provides clinical mental health services to those in need.

Co-Occurring and Substance Use Program

The highs and lows are unpredictable. When your loved one has bipolar disorder, it’s hard to know when mania will turn into depression. Emotional highs typically consist of extreme energy, optimism, and talkativeness.

Telehealth Services

Telehealth is the use of digital technology, such as a mobile device or computer, for healthcare services remotely. This can include virtual appointments, video conferencing, text reminders, apps, etc.

Adolescents

As an age group, adolescents (10-19) can be overlooked in discussions about mental health treatment, with problems often dismissed as growing pains or typical angst. But according to the World Health Organization, suicide is the third leading cause of death in 15-19 year-olds, and depression is one of the primary illnesses and disabilities for adolescents across the globe.
